She watched Alaïs stride into the Main Hall looking ready for war despite being dressed the exact same as when Thayne's voice had thundered across the Palace and felt her stomach flip. The Honorable Companion looked around with clear blue eyes that reminded her of Nhulynolyn's, even though Alaïs' were more blue than white. The …

She stepped inside her rooms and froze at the sight of a figure standing in front of the floor to ceiling windows that made up the far wall. But she didn't raise the alarm, didn't draw her steel, because she knew who it was before his magickal signature even registered. Knew it without him turning …

Synopsis

The Seven Worlds follows the story of Rhyshladlyn Ka’ahne, an extraordinary Dhaoine born into and raised in conditions that should have broken him but didn’t.

It is a story about impossible choices, heartache, triumphs, horrors and nightmares, bravery, loss, and becoming. One that shows that even when the odds are stacked in your favor, you can still lose but that doesn’t mean you have to give up, only get up and try again but harder this time.

Rhyshladlyn Ka’ahne’s story has, was, and will always be a lesson in why faith isn’t just for the gods. That more often than not, it’s for ourselves first because sometimes family, hope, and love aren’t enough to win the big fight, to overcome every — let alone any — adversity. That sometimes you have to be your own savior.
